"Azlyð provides many gifts to us. The Amar'Kash, with her warmth, her trees, her natural bounty is one of them. Azlyð also provides us with the Amar'Kash as a warning to beware all that surrounds us, before our complacency becomes the means of our death."

A vast and dense jungle, the Amar'Kash is as vibrant as it is deadly. Contested by two corrupted species, each vying for control of the territory over the other, the Amar'Kash doesn't make itself a welcome location. The jungle's rich soil has caused a few nomads to consider leaving the Great Walk in favour of a life as a farmer; however the sheer inhospitality of the overgrowth makes it a difficult life to lead.

Geography

A dense jungle, the Amar'Kash is a vibrant and luscious land subject to torrential rainfall during the spring. Due to this rain, the jungle is at the risk of forming pockets of quicksand, often requiring scouting parties to make sure the path is still safe for the larger nomadic force. The ground is uneven, with its upper canopy often hiding mountains until a clearing is reached on its summit.

Fauna & Flora

The Amar'Kash is rich with plant life, from fruits such as the pitahaya to the deadlier tree of sorrows. The jungle's primary native species are the Felicine and the Vattenine, who contest the land in what has seemingly been an eternal war. The Amar'Kash is also home to a variety of amphibians as well as simian species such as monkeys and apes.

Natural Resources

The Amar'Kash is most noted for its vast supply of wood for lumber and kindling, however it is also appreciated for its supplies of fruit and edible vegetation, the majority of which is harvested by the nomads as they travel through the dense overgrowth. The rest is cultivated by the few humans who have chosen to make their home in the jungle, namely in the town of Winter.
