"Trail-less asked me about the Ends the other day, amma, about whether we could cross it one day. I asked if they were joking, and told them that they're called 'the Ends' for a reason; knowing this world, even if they found a way across, something would likely eat them the second they hit the water."
- Steadfast Sjallen Herder to her grandmother, Ancestor Sjallen Elder, about her child Trail-less
Humans, focused on survival, have little time for exploration, and thus have yet to foray into sea travel. The farthest any civilisation has gotten has been the Kaldine, who used boats to populate the southernmost island, and made largely unsuccessful ventures into the Ends.
However, since Azlyð is only one continent, anyone who travelled into the Ends would likely just end up on the other side.
